Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a well established company in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst totheir team due to a recent promotion. This role will be an approximate 16month contract. If you are looking for a workplace where you have opportunity to build on your accounting career, we need to hear from you!

This position is responsible for the monthly reporting of the financial results of several entities and preparing the monthly financial package to Senior Leadership. You will assist in the preparation of related journal entries and manage the consolidation entries according to IFRSand Company policy.You will track the performance of several entities and manage the related schedules to reconcile to the Balance Sheet. In addition, you will be called upon to support Ad-hoc requests within the Accounting Team in a timely manner.

To be considered for this position, our client is looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Minimum 6-7 accounting/finance experience, CPA, CApreferred
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent Analytical and communications skills
• A passion for contract work, this position will not go permanent
