The Role

Neo Financial seeks a full-time Financial Analyst to join our Calgary, AB team. Our finance team transcends traditional number crunching, focusing on strategic growth, overcoming business obstacles, and shaping the future of fintech. What you'll be doing:

  • Be an active member of the Corporate Planning & Finance team, collaborating with the business teams to update and maintain enterprise level cash flow projections and Neo’s Corporate forecasting models
  • Provide insights into actual performance versus forecast while assessing risks and opportunities
  • Support business case and scenario analysis development
  • Manage working relationships and communicate with internal business partners on an ongoing basis
  • Adhoc analysis as needed across a variety of Neo products both current and in the pipeline

Who we are looking for:

  • A university degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, with 2 years of work experience in an analytical role, with preference given towards FP&A, Big 4 or investment banking
  • Strong analytical, and organizational skills, paired with a keen attention to detail and strong business acumen
  • Effective communication and prioritization skills to articulate analysis and manage various stakeholder requests
  • Comfortable working with autonomy and ownership in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative to resolve issues
  • Experience building or working with excel based pro forma financial models
  • Experience in the financial services industry would be considered an asset
