We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst position with a fast-growing portfolio of software businesses . With 20+ independently managed companies across several industry verticals, this is a unique opportunity to work in a small-company environment with the resources of a major public parent .

Key Responsibilities & Oversight :

• Support multiple business units providing financial insights and analysis.
• Own analytical functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, income statements, and key business metrics.
• Partner with business unit leaders to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
• Oversee some core accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Lead ad hoc financial analysis and business modeling to drive performance improvements.

What You Need to Succeed :

• Major firm trained, CPA designated (or near completion) with 3+ years of finance / accounting experience.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with IFRS and revenue recognition (IFRS 15) is an asset.
• Exceptional business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive process improvements.
