Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its dynamic accounting team in Toronto. The role involves analyzing financial results, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to management. Ideal candidates hold a University degree and CPA designation, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. What you’ll do
Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Operations, IT and Retail, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role within a dynamic accounting team. This position utilizes strong technical accounting knowledge to provide guidance on complex accounting issues within the Canadian Tire family of companies. This position also plays an important role in the support finance provides to our business partners. In addition, the incumbent will analyze the output of how others have recorded data and investigate anomalies and discrepancies to ensure accurate corporate reporting and adherence to accounting standards.
