A day in the life

Your day begins with reviewing key financial metrics and preparing performance reports that provide visibility into AMZL NA UTR operations. You'll collaborate with operations teams to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

Throughout the day, you'll toggle between tactical execution—such as working on month-end close tasks—and strategic planning activities.

You'll participate in meetings with cross-functional teams where you'll present financial insights and influence decisions that impact the business over the next 1-3 years.

Each team member plays a crucial role in supporting Amazon's last mile delivery network in North America, helping to scale operations efficiently while maintaining financial discipline. Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
