Job description

We are currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable who will be responsible for 1) primary program administrator for Aviva’s company corporate credit card program, 2) primary program administrator for the corporate procurement purchase card, 3) performing AP invoice processing, 4) prepare AP and fixed assets reconciliations, and 5) performing month end related cycle. This role is a combination of A/P operations and customer service oriented work.

What you'll do:

Aviva corporate credit card program administration
  • End to end ownership of credit card program; manage card activities and reconciliations between the credit card portal and GL.

  • Monitor user compliance to the BMO card program, assist users with card inquiries, perform system troubleshooting, personal expense submission inquiries and investigations

  • Owner of the corporate credit card mailbox

  • Timely follow up with cardholders

  • Assist users with inquiries related to travel and expense and gift policies

  • Use Power Automate to manage email distributions and communications

  • Owner of the accounts payables SharePoint site

Aviva procurement card program administrator

  • Full ownership of the procurement card program – manage card activities and reconciliations

  • Process procurement card transaction requests

Accounts payables reconciliations

  • Perform month end reconciliations on certain AP and asset related GL accounts

  • Assist with journal entry processing and review

Accounts payables invoice processing

  • Assist teams to process manual invoices and ad hoc payments

  • Assist with annual commissions payment processing cycle

Monthly accounts payables KPI

  • Prepare accounts payables KPI package for management review

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

  • Designated accounting professionals with CPA, CIA qualified or equivalent.

  • 3-4 years’ experience in an accounts payables and/or finance operations related role

  • 2+ years’ experience in customers service related role

  • Proficient in MS Office ( PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Form, Power Automate and SharePoint)

  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented

  • Be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive and display excellent judgment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong accountability & ownership, professional ethics, and integrity.

  • Broad business knowledge in Finance accounting / accounts payables

  • Promote teamwork, collaborative efforts with other groups.
