We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the TELUS Health finance team. Principal tasks will include monthly account reconciliation and analysis of revenue accounts. The Financial Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing critical insights and guidance to ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies. The role reports to the Manager responsible for Revenue Accounting.

What you'll do

• Manage month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis
• Perform key Accounts Receivable deliverables such as AFDA analysis, AR aging analysis, write-offs, and AR account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the Commercial Finance team and cross-functional partners
• Assist in developing and implementing month-end close process improvements
• Support quarterly reviews and annual external audits by preparing working papers and liaising with auditors
• Perform ad-hoc projects, reports, and analyses as required (e.g., supporting tax inquiries, budget support)

What you'll bring

• University degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, or Commerce
• Exposure to IFRS 9 (practical experience or coursework, including CPA courses)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, data manipulation) and proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ownership, initiative, independence, and strong time management skills

Great-to-have

• Experience with SAP or Workday ERPs
