As a dedicated financial professional, you will work in a dynamic position supporting our state of the art Health Care Centres, reporting to the Manager of Financial Performance. This role requires the ability to create strong partnerships with key stakeholders while applying your deep understanding of financial knowledge, profitability modeling, financial planning, and budgeting. Your primary responsibility will be assessing the P&L, profitability, and impacts of our clinical growth strategy and development decisions in both near and long-term planning contexts.

In this role you will also support budget and forecasting processes, contributing significantly to the overall financial planning objectives related to the clinic portfolio. You will also be instrumental in modelling proposals and supporting operational excellence. Your expertise will be key in shaping financial strategies that align with our organizational goals, ensuring the financial health and success of our product offerings.

What you’ll do

Financial Modeling - assess and develop financial models as well as reporting requirements

Business Acumen - evaluate the impact of changes to business plans, leveraging a strong understanding of business operations and strategy and key financial indicators to provide informed, insightful recommendations

Business Case Development - build and review business cases and present proposals to an executive audience

Communication Skills - prepare & review complex reports to communicate financial concepts to non-finance teams

Relationship building - develop strong work relationships with partners across TELUS Health

Qualifications

What you bring

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

5+ years in a financial planning & analysis type role with increasing responsibilities

Experience working with large data sets

Adaptability - proven track record in balancing immediate and long-term priorities while being flexible and adaptable

Great-to-haves

Experience with SAP

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-suite apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Experience in the health industry

Experience working with data visualization tools

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range : $90,000-$134,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as :
