Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience, ideally in aerospace.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and FP&A models.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly P&L and forecasting.
• Prepare annual budgeting and cash flow documents.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis.

Aplin partnered with a well-established company in West Island of Montreal to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for finance professionals seeking stability, flexibility, and a chance to work with a leading organization in the aerospace sector.

Hybrid model: 3 days per week onsite at the Client’s office in West Island area.

Ideal for candidates living in the West Island, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Hudson, NDG, or nearby areas.

Position Details:

• Option 1: 1-Year Contract at $50–$55/hour with potential to go permanent
• Option 2: Direct Permanent hire at $80K–$90K/year
• Includes 3 weeks’ vacation and health & dental benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly P&L and forecasting
• Monthly governance and overhead reports
• Quarterly SR&ED forecasts, claims, and audits
• Government grant claims management
• Annual budgeting (programs, cash flow, overhead, SR&ED)
• Revenue recognition documentation and audit support
• Annual Rate Package preparation
• Ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience, ideally in the aerospace industry
• Must-have CPA designation or in progress
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
• Solid understanding of IFRS, cost management, and FP&A models
• Bilingual in French and English (mandatory)
