Qualifications

• Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish considered an asset.

About the Opportunity

• Assist the Portfolio finance team in reviewing or compiling various month end deliverables (IFRS 15 contract checklists, Financial Statement note disclosures etc.) prepared by the portfolio businesses
• Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for the Portfolio and some acquisitions being integrated, as required
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including automation and system upgrades (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite).
• Managing all intercompany transactions between the Portfolio and other affiliated entities
• Working with Finance teams of the businesses on longer-term projects to drive efficiencies or more accurate management reporting

About You

• 3 years experience in public accounting or industry
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications under IFRS, specifically IFRS 15 and 16
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, as are excellent analytical and communication skills
• Past experience auditing or working in a software based company an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains considered an asset
• Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish considered an asset

Salary Range

$90,000 to $95,000/year
