Job Details

Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst is direct reporting to Financial Controller, and is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis.
2. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
3. Partner with business units to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
4. Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
5. Support business cases, investment appraisals, and ROI analyses for capital expenditures and strategic projects.
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards for senior leadership.
7. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and systems.
8. Work with internal and external audit teams for delivery of various audit requirements.
9. Prepare sales quote worksheet at the request of sales team.
10. Assist in the documentation of all compliance related requirements from government agencies.
11. Reconcile and maintain key accounting schedules and margin Masterfile.
12. Keep track of manufacturing costs at the SKU level.
13. Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
14. Support implementation of IT projects and other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
4. Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Insights) is an asset.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
9. Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.
10. Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial drivers.
11. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch)

Job Types:

Pay:

$66,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
