The Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Director of Business Planning and Analysis, is responsible for driving forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and financial operations functions in addition to ad hoc financial analyses supporting operations, marketing, and sales functions. This role is a critical partner to the stakeholders in the company to drive understanding of profitability and performance.
Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to produce and update management reporting illustrating performance against forecast, budget, and progress on key results initiatives.
Design reports & dashboards utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and business systems knowledge to effectively communicate results to leadership.
Work with stakeholders to help them understand their reports, facilitate data-driven decisions, and translate into action plans that deliver results.
Ensure integrity of data in models and reports, while thinking about new and innovative ways to make existing reports more efficient and effective, including partnering with business intelligence to automate recurring reports.
Lead special financial analysis projects & ad-hoc financial assignments.
Education & Skill Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience or prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or other significant financial analysis and valuation experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Bachelor of Science.
Previous Wall Street Prep or Train the Street training.
Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, less than 5% expected.
Training
It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.
