You will contribute to the development of the provincial budget, forecasts, multiyear fiscal plan and debt reduction plan through the timely coordination of budget and forecast-related data, including revenues, debt servicing costs, pension valuation analysis, net income from government business enterprises, and expenditure data from Treasury Board Office.

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Director.

  • Prepare Reports and Recommendations to Executive Council, Memorandum to Executive Council, briefing materials and presentations on various topics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This may be the right opportunity for you if you have an undergraduate degree from a related field (Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics) with a minimum of 5 years related experience; or an equivalent such as a master’s degree from a related field with 2 years of related experience. You have previous experience in financial management and / or policy analysis, development and coordination.

You possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, demonstrated leadership capability and exceptional communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
