SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

OVERVIEW

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This position is responsible for developing financial insights, preparing detailed reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. By providing meaningful data and strategic recommendations, this role enhances organizational decision-making and improves financial visibility.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and maintain key financial performance dashboards to track business metrics.
• Compile and present management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis .
• Conduct detailed variance analysis , comparing actual results against projections, and provide interpretations.
• Assist with financial statement preparation , including disclosure notes and supporting documents.
• Research and draft memos on technical accounting matters related to IFRS .
• Contribute to the preparation of corporate financial disclosures, such as MD&A reports and press releases .

Operational & Process Enhancements

• Improve financial reporting workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the integration of financial consolidation tools , such as OneStream.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and corporate governance standards , including assisting with internal control evaluations.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

• Assist in the development and execution of annual budgeting processes .
• Maintain and refine financial forecasting models to improve predictive accuracy.
• Provide deep-dive analyses into business performance trends and key financial variances.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (CPA / ACCA / CA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis , ideally within a manufacturing setting .
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards .
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (IFS and OneStream preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights.
