Overview

A Moving Experience. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member involved in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and long-term strategic planning. This individual will provide meaningful analysis on complex data, identify trends, and provide meaningful analysis to support business decisions. This individual will work with various teams throughout the organization largely supporting our R&D, Sales, Marketing and G&A functions.

Your daily functions or responsibilities will be:

  • Working closely with management teams, providing accurate financial analyses to drive business activities toward achieving financial goals.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of business and strategic financial models.
  • Prepare monthly management reports emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends.
  • Maintain and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Accounting during month end to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.

To succeed in this role, you must have these qualifications:

  • BS in finance or accounting
  • 3-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting experience in the software industry.
  • Experience with Workday, Adaptive, or other financial planning tools a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills

And these preferred skills:

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, ranging from leading finance discussions to working with data and providing thoughtful analysis.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, and demonstrated experience providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding.
  • Must be able to listen to and interpret the requirements of internal clients, plan accordingly and meet or exceed expectations.
  • Exemplifies initiative, intelligence, integrity and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Strong presentation skills.
