Build and maintain supporting models and assumptions for revenue, expenses, headcount, and other key performance drivers. Quantify gaps between actuals, budget, and forecast; assess their financial impact and recommend practical actions or forecast adjustments. Challenge inputs and assumptions constructively, ensuring plans are well supported, internally consistent, and aligned with current performance trends. Monitor risks and opportunities throughout the year and communicate emerging impacts proactively.
  • 3) Commissions & Compensation Administration Own the accurate and timely calculation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal commissions and variable compensation for the assigned portfolio. Interpret and apply commission plan guidelines consistently, maintaining clear supporting documentation and appropriate review controls. Investigate exceptions, reconcile discrepancies, and partner with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues. Prepare ad hoc commission analysis and provide insight into compensation trends and financial impacts.
  • 4) Business Partnership & Decision Support Develop a strong understanding of the assigned portfolio, its operating model, and the drivers of financial performance. Build effective relationships with business, Operations, and Accounting partners, serving as a trusted source of financial insight and guidance. Translate complex analysis into concise, audience-appropriate messages and presentation materials for management discussions. Respond to ad hoc analytical requests, assessing financial implications and presenting clear conclusions and recommendations.
  • 5) Process Improvement & Financial Controls Contribute to process-improvement initiatives that increase the accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and timeliness of reporting and analysis. Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and strengthen recurring models, files, dashboards, and controls. Maintain well-organized documentation and ensure analytical work is transparent, repeatable, and reviewable. Share knowledge with analysts and cross-functional partners, promoting consistent practices and continuous improvement.
