PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

As a key member of the project, you will:

• Provide financial analysis, advice, and guidance to support the project team in making optimal business decisions.
• Be the main partner for the financial strategy success of the project, contributing to negotiation processes to ensure project success. Support the Project Director in risk and opportunity management, including sign-off on contingencies and committed savings.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Participate in the overall project management process alongside the Project Director.
• Serve as the main partner for the financial strategy success of the project.
• Optimize financial aspects related to organization, tax, hedging, and financing.
• Business Partnering: Provide financial advice and mentorship to the project team.
• Ensure compliance with finance rules during project review and throughout project execution.
• Monitor financial performance and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash flow, including corrective measures for identified risks.
• Enhance the accuracy of project financial information, including forecasts, revenue, cash, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts.
• Liaise with other finance functions when necessary.
• Collaborate with other expert functions such as Legal, Platforms, and Operational Excellence.
• Establish strategic networks with external financial stakeholders involved in the project.
• Contribute to negotiations to secure project success with customers and partners.
• Understand the business portfolio and operational functions.
• Coach Junior Project Finance Managers to develop essential skills for managing projects with low or no criticality.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

• Over 10 years of experience in finance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel.
• Integrity, resilience, coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in project finance management.
• Strategic thinking capabilities.
• Synthesis and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and influence others.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
