Senior Finance Manager, Category Finance at a Glance…

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for managing category financials, delivering driver-based forecasts, actuals reporting, and financial analysis on complex P&Ls with varying dynamics. They will influence cross-functional teams to support financial success in innovation, cost reduction, and other projects.

What’s on the menu?

  1. Own category reporting and drive category financial performance with holistic monthly forecasting.
  2. Provide strategic recommendations against key financial targets (AOP/PY).
  3. Drive financial process improvements to harmonize procedures across the category finance teams.
  4. Develop and execute key business initiatives (Pricing strategies, capital planning, cost-out projects) to enhance profitability.
  5. Guide strategic product launches and modifications by developing innovation P&Ls.
  6. Provide recommendations and influence sales strategy through monthly OBR and LNUC reviews.
  7. Own IR actuals/forecasting reviews, providing insights on financial drivers and supporting senior leadership in MPR reviews with the BU president.
  8. Develop Annual Operating Plan P&L forecasts, including demand, pricing, costs, mix, liquidations, and SKU rationalization.
  9. Highlight waste risks and key risks to liquidation.
  10. Drive continuous improvement in tools, models, and processes for better financial visibility.
  11. Motivate, coach, and develop team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a P&L in a finance function.
  • Ability to manage diverse teams across financial segments.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead projects.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Tableau, FiT, Nielsen, SAP is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: 120,100.00 - $150,100.00
