- Carry out commissioning, maintenance, and corrective actions on utility substation or generation station protection and control systems.
- Monitor worksite projects at our clients’ facilities.

- Develop protection and control systems on site and in the BBA digital power systems laboratories across Canada.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or relevant fields.
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical apparatus maintenance, protection relay, and control systems testing.
- Experience in operational and brownfield environments with industrial and utility systems.
- Comfort working in severe weather, remote locations, and limited communication settings.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
- Availability to travel across Canada and for short- and long-term assignments.
- Assets include electrical tickets, bilingualism, experience in power control systems, and knowledge of protocols like DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850.
