Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Senior field Electrical technologist to join our team.
In this dynamic role, you'll contribute directly to electrical design, project execution, and maintenance services for new and existing clients. From detailed design and studies to field construction, commissioning, and preventative maintenance, you'll be involved in every phase, making a real difference for our clients and building valuable industry experience.
What You'll Do:
- Design, inspect, test, commission, and maintain electrical power and control systems, including generators, transformers, breakers, and protection relays.
- Read and interpret technical electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation drawings.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong service relationships.
- Provide responsive, high-quality field services and technical support.
- Contribute to operations and reliability engineering for industrial and utility clients.
- Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and proposals.
- Oversee and manage small-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction

Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology (or related technical field) from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Eligibility for professional affiliation (e.g., A.Sc.T., C.E.T., etc.).
- Specialized expertise in at least one area of your field.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage field and office work.
- A solid understanding of industrial and utility environments, with a client-focused mindset.
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and pass a fitness assessment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Saskatchewan and work flexible hours when required.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
