Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Customer Engineer for the Public Sector Federal segment. You will be the technical lynchpin through the sales cycle, guiding prospects and customers on Cloudflare’s distributed network and solutions.

Responsibilities include training customers, designing solutions, and collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering and Support. Some travel is required for US DoD/DISA-focused work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of customer-facing sales or consulting experience supporting the US Federal Government.
• Strong technical knowledge of on-prem infrastructure and public cloud in federal context.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and train customers.
• Willingness to travel 35-45% to meet prospects or customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical discussions to generate new business and keep customers happy.
• Lead demonstrations, requirements discovery, PoCs, and solution design.
• Advise on implementation and best practices for existing customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering and Support teams.
