Job summary

Bombardier Aerospace in Dorval, QC, seeks a Senior Professional Engineer to lead Fly By Wire and Secondary Flight Control System activities. You will integrate FBW/Secondary Flight Controls on the aircraft, coordinate with suppliers, and develop and verify system requirements to support certification for Challenger, Global Express and other programs.

You should have a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering and at least 7 years in aerospace, with strong English/French communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with FBW and Secondary Flight Control systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems interfaces (electrical/hydraulic/avionics).

Responsibilities

• Integrate FBW and Secondary Flight Controls on the aircraft.
• Collaborate with system suppliers on concepts, design approach and philosophy.
• Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System.
• Review/test procedures and support certification activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for in-service aircraft.
