Job summary

YM Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Quality Controller in Toronto to review garment quality and fit, manage sample production, and coordinate with vendors during the production process.

This role targets candidates with a strong technical and construction background in fashion design. The ideal candidate will complete technical packages efficiently using Illustrator, possess strong MS Office skills, and have knowledge of apparel construction and fitting across women's, men's, and kids' wear.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete technical packages (Sketch + Specs + Construction details) using Illustrator efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Illustrator.
• Apparel construction, fabrication and garment production knowledge.
• Ladies/men’s/kids wear fitting experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on the quality and fit of a garment.
• Communicate technical instructions between the Buying Team and the vendor.
• Submit clear technical comments and illustrations.
• Prioritize and organize the daily work flow.
• Follow up on samples to ensure instructions are executed correctly and delivery stays on time.
