Richter, a firm serving high-net-worth families, is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join its Family Office Services team in Toronto. The role focuses on investment accounting, taxation, and pro forma analyses for complex structures, with regular contact to families and their advisors.

You will lead staff, ensure deadlines, and provide strategic cash flow and tax planning insights. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in an accounting firm, familiarity with CaseWare, Taxprep, and TJPS,

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in a Family Office is an asset.
• Strong taxation knowledge and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for families on accounting and tax matters.
• Coordinate with bankers, accountants, and lawyers.
• Review and supervise tax returns and financial statements.
• Provide financial projections and tax estimates.
• Guide staff on preparation of financial information.
