Job summary

Honeywell in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Technician III to operate and maintain facility mechanical and electrical systems, perform inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensure uptime and asset integrity in line with EH&S and fire protection requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in facility maintenance with HVAC/BAS knowledge, ability to work shifts and on-call, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, BAS, or building systems.
• Knowledge of building operations, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and client-service orientation; able to mentor lower-level technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot facility equipment and systems; assess conditions and suggest repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to meet uptime objectives.
• Manage work orders from dispatch to completion and document resolutions.
• Assist in facility-related projects and ensure compliance with EH&S and fire protection policies.
