Job description

The Senior Facility Engineer is responsible for providing technical oversight and engineering support for facility civil and structural systems on the SeaRose FPSO and WWR Platform. This role will ensure operational integrity support maintenance and upgrades and drive improvements across facility-related infrastructure.

What youll do :

Act as Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) and System Coordinator for civil structural and facility systems including WWR CGS and platform structures.

Support day-to-day operations by providing engineering expertise to Maintenance Marine and Drilling teams focusing on utilities and support systems.

Lead and manage facility-related modifications through the Cenovus Management of Change (MOC) process including design input construction oversight and commissioning.

Serve as Safety Critical Coordinator for assigned Safety Critical Elements related to Searose FPSO & WWR Platform.

Contribute to annual turnaround planning procurement efforts and the development and revision of technical documentation.

Ensure all assigned system actions are tracked and closed in Intelex and ATMS and maintain alignment with COIMS for design documentation and continuous improvement.

Who you are :

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Bachelor of Engineering in Civil / Structural Engineering

Member in good standing or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL)

Minimum 8 years experience within the oil and gas industry

In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry and Regulatory & Certifying Authority regulations codes & standards

Experience with Hazards and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) & Risk Assessments

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to pre-placement Fitness for Work assessments which includes drug and alcohol screening a medical and drivers abstract review
