Job summary

Expleo Group Canada in Montreal, QC is seeking a Senior Facilities Planner to join a dynamic and expanding team. You will lead analysis of maintenance data and the development of preventive and predictive maintenance plans to support reliable operations.

You will collaborate across production, engineering and procurement to integrate reliability into design and planning, drive continuous improvement, and mentor teams in preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least five years in an industrial environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, project management, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and root causes and propose solutions.
• Define and implement maintenance plans including preventive and predictive programs.
• Assess risk and prioritize interventions based on safety and cost.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and procurement to integrate reliability into design and planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance system performance.
• Provide training and raise awareness of preventive/predictive tools.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures to propose sustainable solutions.

• Define and implement maintenance plans: Develop preventive and predictive programs based on manufacturer recommendations and best practices.

• Manage risk and criticality: Assess the impact of failures on safety, production, and costs, and prioritize interventions accordingly.

• Coordinate across departments: Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to integrate reliability into design and planning.

• Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and maintenance system performance.

• Provide training and awareness: Support teams in adopting preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.

• Monitor performance indicators (KPIs): MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, etc.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment.

• Bilingual proficiency (French/English), both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, project management abilities, and a strong customer service mindset.

• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.

• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.

• Experience with various modules of a CMMS system (Maximo preferred).

• A strong sense of customer service.
