Job summary

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Senior for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services in Canada. You will partner with finance leaders to navigate challenges, support financial reporting, and assist clients in remediation of internal controls. The ideal candidate should have a CPA designation and strong technical accounting experience in IFRS and US GAAP. Competitive compensation and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proven mastery of internal controls and finance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance leaders to address challenges in accounting.
• Support acquisitions and optimize financial reporting.
• Assist clients with remediation of internal control weaknesses.

Skills

Technical accounting experience in IFRS and US GAAP

Audit experience with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404

Client-facing experience assessing control failures

Risk assessment and internal control design evaluation

Use of technology to enhance service delivery

Education

Canadian CPA designation or equivalent
