Overview

You will report to the AI & Content Solutions Experience Design Manager, working on our AI-powered Customer Success solutions for a team of talented experience and conversational designers. The goal of the team is to connect our front to back customer success experiences. As a designer on this team, you’ll design and influence our AI-powered experiences such as Autodesk Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Design workflows, interactions, and interfaces with varying levels of fidelity to communicate with peers and partners
  • Use customer insights derived from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions
  • Help to plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, customer interviews, and co-creation workshops
  • Lead the development of personas, user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Take an exploratory approach, considering the full range of opportunities across content, interaction, and third-party technologies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with product management, engineering, UX research, machine learning, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development and launch
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in UX design
  • Experience designing for AI powered systems and technologies
  • Demonstrated experience wireframing, prototyping, high and low fidelity mock-ups, designing workflows and interactions using a range of tools and formats at multiple levels of fidelity
  • Up-to-date expertise in human-centered design best practices
  • Experience working collaboratively with global development teams and product managers to deliver usable and desired value to customers
  • Excellent ability to distill complex ideas, and large amounts of data and viewpoints, to their essence
  • Experience presenting designs to multiple audiences, including software development, product managers, quality assurance, learning content development, marketing, and sales
  • Demonstrated experience in research such as contextual interviews, ethnography, user testing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or certification in interaction design or related field
  • Experience designing for enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, and multi-channel experiences
  • Experience with Agile software design methods
  • Experience with Autodesk or comparable competitive products
  • Experience working with conversational design

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $86,300 and $126,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
