Job summary

Humans of HR in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support a high‑level executive and help run the executive office with discretion and independence.

You will manage complex calendars, coordinate travel, prepare confidential documents, handle cross‑timezone communications, and contribute to projects beyond a traditional EA scope.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Executive Assistant experience.
  • Experience supporting a senior leader (founder/owner/president).
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong technology skills with business systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support, including complex calendar and schedule management.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements and other executive priorities.
  • Prepare, organize and manage confidential correspondence and business documentation.
  • Support the executive office with projects, initiatives and follow-up items.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Translate and interpret business documents and communications as required.
  • Help manage competing priorities and ensure important items are followed through to completion.
  • Work closely with other members of the executive support team.
  • Take on a variety of projects and responsibilities as required - no two days will necessarily look the same.

Humans of HR is working with a well-established organization to find a Senior Executive Assistant to support a high-level executive and play a key role within the executive office.

This is not your typical EA position. The successful candidate will be someone who can operate with a high degree of discretion and independence, while also taking on elements of project coordination, business support, and executive office management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys being the person behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide high-level executive support, including complex calendar and schedule management

What We’re Looking For:
  • 7+ years of progressive Executive Assistant or senior executive support experience
  • Experience supporting a senior executive, founder, owner, president or similarly senior leader
  • Fluency in either Mandarin or Cantonese is required
  • Strong ability to read, write and communicate professionally in the required language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A highly proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong technology skills and confidence working with business systems and digital tools
  • Willingness to step outside of a traditional EA scope and take ownership of projects and priorities
