Job description

As a Senior Events Marketing Manager, you will lead events and community engagement for League Connect. League Connect is a year-round initiative designed to drive engagement and build a community of healthcare leaders across prospects, customers, and partners.

As the marketing leader for this strategic program, you will be responsible for leading and executing two major events: League Connect Miami (in-person) and League Connect Digital Summit (virtual), along with community engagement initiatives throughout the year. The in-person event gathers senior executives from healthcare and tech for three days of talks, networking, and activities focused on enhancing the healthcare consumer experience.

This high-visibility role requires collaboration across Executive, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to develop a comprehensive event planning process for seamless execution. You will oversee all aspects of League Connect events, including strategy, planning, and execution, managing a Campaign Manager, Event Coordinator, vendors, and agencies. The environment is fast-paced, energetic, and collaborative.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement event strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring KPIs and goals are met.
  2. Own the in-year strategy, positioning, and messaging for League Connect, and ensure consistent dissemination across channels.
  3. Manage all facets of event planning and execution, including promotion, budgeting, vendor management, on-site logistics, speaker coordination, agenda setting, sponsorship packages, and more.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance attendee experience and generate new business pipelines.
  5. Work with marketing, design, and sales teams to align event initiatives with business objectives.
  6. Analyze pipeline and marketing data to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Prepare executive reports on event performance based on data.
  8. Manage team members involved in event execution and community engagement.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience, including event marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and executing large B2B events (both in-person and virtual).

Security-Related Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies.
  • Responsible for executing League's policies and procedures.
  • Report any incidents, breaches, or policy violations to HR, Legal, Compliance, and Security.

Note for Canadian applicants: The salary range for this full-time position is CAD 98,000 to 120,000, exclusive of bonuses, equity, and benefits. The exact salary depends on skills and experience, and further details will be provided during the hiring process.
