Are you great at making (and keeping) friends? Then you may be perfect for this role. The Senior Event Sales Manager focuses on client management, revenue growth, and leading a team to success. Your mission is to convert inquiries into booked events that impress clients. You will manage your pipeline, meet and tour potential clients, and coordinate with our Operations Team to ensure flawless event execution. Essential Duties:

Be an event sales magician

  • Respond to all event inquiries and convert them into booked events.
  • Plan events across multiple venues, understanding and communicating the features and benefits of our properties and options to clients.

Hit those numbers

  • Meet or exceed your sales KPIs.
  • Assist the team in surpassing theirs.

Be an MVP to OUR ON-SITE OPERATIONS TEAM

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to energize and lead the team. Lead daily meetings and virtual sessions, and drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as the on-site contact for operations, hosting BEO meetings, and ensuring successful events.

Guide the guest

  • Provide engaging venue tours, showcasing event options.
  • Plan and coordinate client events until the day of the party.
  • Manage client relationships during and after events to encourage repeat business.

Flexibility is key

  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.

Be camera ready

  • Stay connected via video for coaching and meetings, fostering team camaraderie remotely.
  • Be prepared to showcase enthusiasm and professionalism for client visits.
Who you are

You’re an experienced sales professional with management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for guest service. You thrive on feedback, enjoy friendly competition, and excel at achieving KPIs while helping your team succeed. Your interpersonal skills turn ordinary events into memorable celebrations.

Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years in sales, with event sales and multi-unit experience a plus
  • 1+ years in management
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Feedback-driven, data-centric, organized, adaptable
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills are a plus

Required: Ability to travel once a year to the national sales conference.

The pay rate for this position is $38.46/hr plus commission, with an expected first-year total earnings of $40K–$50K (uncapped), and an OTE of $120K–$130K!
