We’re hiring a Senior Estimator to play a key role in shaping high-quality residential communities across Western Canada. If you're experienced in wood frame construction and enjoy cost planning and collaboration, this opportunity offers long-term growth, impact, and great perks.

What You'll Do:

  • Review design blueprints and construction docs to understand project requirements

  • Prepare detailed material and labour take-offs

  • Build comprehensive cost estimates including labour, materials, timelines, and contingencies

  • Present estimates for internal approval and executive decision-making

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, construction, and civil teams

  • Maintain and update estimating systems, records, and databases

  • Track plan changes and revise budgets accordingly

  • Participate in bids, proposals, and internal material planning

  • Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and new materials

  • Mentor junior estimators and budget analysts

  • Prepare and validate monthly executive budget reports

  • Manage deadlines for deliverables

What You Bring:

  • Diploma in Construction Management, Estimating, Accounting, or related

  • 5+ years in a Senior Estimator role

  • Deep knowledge of wood frame residential construction

  • Strong experience with take-offs, estimating software, and Excel

  • Understanding of construction methodology, project scheduling, and cost control

  • On-site experience is a major asset

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with legal aspects of construction contracts

  • Capable of managing multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously

  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Western Canada if needed

Based on Vancouver Island, BC with travel to sites across Western Canada
