Axiom-Builders in Vancouver, BC is seeking two Senior Estimators to lead cost estimates for a diverse pipeline of residential projects and to communicate data to project teams, clients, owners and consultants.

You will assemble labour, material and trade pricing, review designs for cost efficiencies, collaborate across estimating, virtual construction and project management, and track costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of experience on complex projects from start to finish.
• Experience with trade practices, market conditions and building materials.
• Proficiency with on-screen takeoff tools and Excel.
• Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management or related field.

Responsabilités

• Assemble estimating inputs including labour, materials, equipment and trade pricing with a team.
• Collaborate with estimating, virtual construction and project management to form a preconstruction team.
• Prepare and analyze labour needs and breakdowns for budgets and planning.
• Review designs to identify cost efficiencies and improvements.
• Ensure completeness of estimates and quantify costed subcontractor scopes and general conditions.
• Build relationships with trades and suppliers for cost data and support.
• Conduct conceptual estimating from drawings through final cost analysis.
• Track estimated vs. actual costs over the project life.
• Support design and preconstruction meetings with owners and consultants.
• Assist leadership in training and developing junior team members.
