About Our Client

Our client is a Global Infrastructure Company with experience focused on large scale renewable, energy and infrastructure projects across the world.

Job Description



  • Prepare Order of Magnitude (OOM) budgets based on Reference or Indicative documents.


  • Develop Cost Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for large-scale civil/transportation projects.


  • Perform quantity take-offs and compile Bill of Quantities (BoQs).


  • Generate direct cost estimates from project specifications, drawings, and addenda.


  • Create estimates for general accounts and indirect costs.


  • Develop cost unit rates based on labor, equipment, and material resources.


  • Calculate labor unit rates in accordance with the wage requirements of project locations.


  • Update and manage construction budgets as project designs evolve.


  • Present updated construction budgets to management during review meetings.


  • Lead and coordinate Estimating Working Group meetings with project partners.


  • Prepare alternative pricing for value engineering elements within projects.


  • Generate tender summary sheets and cash flow projections.


  • Participate in design workshops to provide cost and construction input during the design phase.


  • Review design deliverables from consultants and integrate them into cost estimates.


  • Source and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and technical requirements.


  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to evaluate and select subcontractors/vendors.


  • Prepare procurement packages containing specifications, drawings, and BoQs for tendering.


  • Analyze and compare subcontractor/vendor quotes and prepare comparison reports.


  • Update estimates based on market pricing, ensuring all required documentation (bid bond, insurance, etc.) is in place.


  • Develop innovative, cost-effective construction methods.


  • Collect and analyze historical cost data, documenting findings for future estimates.


  • Organize and prepare final bid closing documents.


  • Assess estimating accuracy and perform related analyses.


  • Research and summarize historical data (purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity reports) to guide future estimates.


  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

The Successful Applicant



  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years experience estimating large scale civil projects


  • Proven experience in large Design/Build, P3 civil projects (roads, bridges, tunnels).


  • Previous involvement in the bidding process is essential.


  • Proficient in Estimating and Quantity Take-Off software.


  • Strong understanding of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.


  • Ability to calculate mathematical extensions and interpret engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.


  • Experience working in a multi-joint venture environment.
