Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Senior ERP Technical Analyst – Cognos & ETL, for one of our key government clients.

Candidate MUST have the following:

  • A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability;
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience within the last 15 years in developing and documenting ERP business, and/or system requirements specifications;
  • Over ten (10) years of experience, within a large organization of over 1,000 employees, performing the following: Developing or assisting with business and functional requirements, project scope, estimates of effort and duration;
  • Over ten (10) years of experience, within a large organization of over 1,000 employees, performing the following: Translating functional and business requirements into technical requirements;
  • Over ten (10) years of experience, within a large organization of over 1,000 employees, performing the following: Developing and managing technical aspects of application software, user interfaces, and third-party components;
  • Over ten (10) years of experience, within a large organization of over 1,000 employees, performing the following: Conducting, assisting with, and managing unit and system tests; and
  • Over ten (10) years of experience, within a large organization of over 1,000 employees, performing the following: Establishing technical standards for the technical framework.

Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining automation of administrative functions required to streamline and optimize the management and maintenance of Cognos and Power BI environments;
  • Providing Visual Source Studio (VSS) support to Business Intelligence / analytics team;
  • Providing expert Business Intelligence (BI) services for application development as well as recommending technical solutions to address client Cognos reporting requirements and support project teams during troubleshooting sessions (data refresh issues, data integrity issues);
  • Preparing script files and/or configuration files;
  • Documenting system configuration, upgrade and patching, incident and problem resolution;
  • Participating in a Cognos upgrade and creating clear, step-by-step plans to replace legacy tools (Cognos) with new capabilities, minimizing disruption during the transition;
  • Supporting system operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, logging issues, and performing recovery procedures for Cognos; and
  • Implementing technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes for infrastructure.
