Senior ERP Systems Administrator - Winnipeg, Manitoba

The Senior ERP Systems Administrator will be joining CEL at an exciting time as we move the organization into its next growth phase. You will play a vital role in an operational-focused team, working closely with other departments to streamline and mature CEL’s business processes. As a senior team member, you will be sharing your expertise with the rest of the team, providing mentorship, and offering support when incidents are escalated.

REPORTING TO: Vice President, IT & IS

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Manage and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge to enhance system functionality and support business processes
  • Develop, administer, and troubleshoot ERP solutions
  • Provide incident response support for application issues and troubleshoot production issues
  • Perform data validation and quality control checks to maximize operational performance
  • Assist customers with data migration, upgrades, patches, and customizations such as BAQs, Dashboards, BPMs, APRs and SSRS reports
  • Provide expertise in business processes such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing, service management, professional services, and workflow analysis
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in and mentor Software Development Lifecycle management
  • Maintain and mentor Secure Coding Best Practices
  • Attain and maintain Epicor certification status
  • Providing periodic on-call support during non-business hours & weekend/evening work to perform system tasks
  • Some travel may be required
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Professional certifications are an asset; Epicor certification is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of professional IT and IS experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience with Epicor ERP systems, including at least 2 years with Epicor Kinetic
  • Epicor SaaS Cloud experience is an asset
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and C# preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and related tools, including SSRS AND SSMS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, and complex documents
  • Ability to use and apply advanced mathematical functions to solve problems and analyze data
  • Ability to develop and interpret graphs and charts
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all levels of management and customers both verbally and through written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping, and end-to-end process experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
