Job summary

The City of Regina seeks an experienced Lead for Oracle EPM and related financial systems within the Finance Department. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and reporting cubes, ensuring data integrity, security, and effective interfaces with ERP data.

You will manage complex budgeting processes, assist in multi-year forecasts, and collaborate with budget holders, IT, auditors, and external vendors to optimize the planning platform across the organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or related field; designation is a strong asset.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience; public-sector experience preferred.
• 3–5 years with financial systems; experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning, Anaplan or Onestream is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of PSAS and public sector accounting requirements; ability to interpret CRA/CPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Govern and ensure data integrity across financial/EPM platforms.
• Lead design, development, testing and integration of EPM/financial systems.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll and Financial data interfaces on ERP systems.
• Oversee security, change management and audit support for the EPM environment.
• Provide direction to analysts and end users; manage projects and continuous improvement.
