About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Team Lead to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading environmental projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance across a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, land development, and municipal works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental projects from proposal to completion.
  • Provide technical direction on environmental assessments (e.g., Phase I & II ESAs), permitting, and remediation programs.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, regulatory submissions, and client communications.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal environmental regulations.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in business development and proposal preparation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or related industry.
  • Registered Professional (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., or QP ESA under Ontario Regulation 153/04).
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Environmental Site Assessment and Brownfield regulations.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
