Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in British Columbia seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist to provide senior technical direction on proposals and projects while mentoring staff and fostering collaboration across the Environment Practice.

You will interface with clients, First Nations, and regulators, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality assurance across multiple projects. A BC-licensed CSAP and extensive field experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, Agrology, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences.
• Licensed professional in BC and CSAP.
• 15+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of municipal, provincial and federal environmental standards in BC.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical direction on proposals and projects.
• Supervise and mentor environmental professionals and staff.
• Interface with clients, First Nations, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and QA reviews.
• Identify risks and develop strategies to minimize liabilities.
