Due to the success of our growing airports portfolio in the Greater Toronto Area, we are hiring a Regulatory Permitting Manager to lead complex projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large infrastructure projects, especially in international airport development or similar complex programs.

Your Role Within The Team
  1. Oversee environmental reviews for the Facility Alteration Permit (FAP) related to the Pearson LIFT program, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
  2. Provide technical expertise on environmental processes, permitting, and compliance.
  3. Ensure the program and design strategies incorporate all relevant environmental requirements.
  4. Advise and support project teams with environmental strategies and data analysis.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
  6. Coordinate with environmental agencies regarding plans and regulations affecting the Pearson LIFT program.
  7. Work with delivery teams to plan and validate environmental aspects.
  8. Mentor and support the career development of staff.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or related field; professional qualification (QP) is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental planning within construction/development sectors.
  • Minimum of 5 years managing environmental aspects in infrastructure projects; experience with large programs is advantageous.
  • Experience working with federal and provincial environmental agencies and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Experience managing and reporting on contaminated sites.
  • Skilled in data management and technical reporting.
  • Experience leading small teams of technical specialists.
