Position | Location: Senior Environmental or Geotechnical Engineer | Any Trace Location or Remote

Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor a passionate and committed team of professionals.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers.
  • Enhance Trace’s reputation.
  • Lead Project Managers with planning and implementing detailed liner and containment design and permitting projects, budgeting, and budget management, ensuring quality of services and client satisfaction.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering (geotechnical, environmental, or civil).
  • Status as a Professional Engineer.
  • Knowledge of current solid waste regulations in Ontario is beneficial, however, not mandatory.
  • Health, safety, and wellness are critical to you.
  • You are positive, caring, and collaborative.
  • You enjoy work life balance and being a part of a people-focused company.
  • You are organized, adaptable, and have a passion for consistently delivering outstanding work.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages.
  • A good understanding of grading, site layout, site servicing, and stormwater management.
  • Experience with embankment design, slope stability, geotechnical engineering and dam safety is a benefit.
  • A strong conceptual and detailed design background.
  • Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills.
