Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst


Work Location and Schedule: The successful candidate can be based out of one of the following locations: FishHawk FL, Regina CAN, or Uberaba Brazil. As part of a flexible arrangement, you’ll have three dedicated office days—Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Additionally, you’ll enjoy the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Plus, there’s an exciting opportunity to follow a 9/80 schedule, which means you’ll have every other Friday off.

As the EHS Sr Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our EHS Systems portfolio. You'll deliver insightful EHS analytics, establish regulatory and internal processes, and implement cutting-edge EHS technologies. Your collaboration with various stakeholders, including Operations, HR, IT, external vendors, and regulatory entities, will be key to executing our EHS Information Management strategies. Your contributions will directly support Mosaic's mission of sustainable food production.


What You’ll Do


  • Identify opportunities and define requirements for complex business EHS solutions, working with the broader multi-discipline team.
  • Progress EHS data systems, processes, and reporting to drive improved decision-making across the organization.
  • Anticipate and interpret complex business problems and KPIs, assemble data, and analyze results and be able to communicate findings to Senior Operational Leaders and the EHS Corporate Team.
  • Roll out and Administer EHS processes and technology while confirming functionality of EHS systems content and processes to ensure compliance with EHS policy, standards, procedures, compliance requirements, and processes.
  • Provide prompt, reliable support and error resolution while working with IT and the business in problem-solving to ensure error resolution for EHS systems.
  • Lead change management efforts from start to finish for technology changes, enhancements, and new releases.
  • Provide project management support for EHS system and reporting advancements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to fully integrate the EHS Systems component into applicable workflows.

What You’ll Need


  • High School Diploma or GED with 10 + years of experience in EHS programs and processes.
  • Experience overseeing a global EHS software system.
  • Experience comprehending a variety of complex customer / operational / administrative requirements or problems and exercising independent judgment to implement effective solutions.
  • Experience exercising significant independent authority and accountability for the successful operation of a unit or program.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to solve problems & issues of a difficult and sensitive nature is expected.
  • Should maintain an environment conducive to effective teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and technical skills.
  • Must be fluent in English both written and verbal communication.

Bonus Points If You Have The Following


  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience in EHS programs and processes.
  • Experience with Sphera, Intelex, SAP, Powerapps, Power BI, OIS, PI.
  • Intermediate communication abilities in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
