We are seeking a qualified Environment Specialist to:

• Work within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Center of Expertise as a leading expert in Environment to support the global Environment strategy.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on the development and implementation of the Environmental portion of our ESG plan.
• Coordinate, validate, and report on environmental performance indicators and initiatives linked to our Environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Perform global regulatory monitoring and oversee environmental impact assessments.
• Ensure environmental compliance risks are managed effectively across the organization.
• Provide technical expertise in defining Environment targets and strategies to achieve them.
• Develop and deploy company-wide standards and projects related to Environment.
• Establish communication and awareness mechanisms regarding Environmental issues.
• Identify industry best practices and trends in Environment and leverage them organization-wide.
• Act as the environment subject matter expert for ISO 14001.
• Collaborate with site Environment experts.

Skills, knowledge & experience needed:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environment or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
• Solid knowledge of Environmental regulations, carbon markets, and cap & trade initiatives.
• Knowledge of Enablon and ISO 14001 is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Collaborative with the ability to consolidate information globally.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Autonomous, structured, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Excellent computer skills and effective presentation abilities.
