The Opportunity
VoPay is seeking a Senior Enterprise Business Development Manager to drive top-of-funnel strategy and execution across inbound and outbound channels. Operating as part of the marketing and growth team, this role will take ownership of lead qualification, enterprise prospecting, and sales pipeline acceleration. This is a highly strategic position for a self-starter who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and move prospects efficiently toward the sales process.
You will work closely with AEs, marketing, and product teams to drive targeted outreach, refine messaging, and shape our market approach—particularly across key verticals such as lending, payroll, insurance, and proptech.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Prospecting & Pipeline Development
  • Identify and engage high-potential enterprise and mid-market accounts through outbound channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person events
  • Research and segment prospects to develop account-specific engagement strategies
  • Book qualified meetings with decision-makers and ensure smooth handoff to AEs
  • Refine VoPay’s outreach cadences based on performance metrics and buyer intent signals
Inbound Lead Management & Qualification
  • Triage and qualify inbound leads using VoPay’s ICP and lead scoring framework
  • Lead discovery calls and early-stage assessments to ensure solution alignment
  • Manage pipeline activity and lead status in HubSpot, maintaining full visibility into engagement history and conversion rates
Event & Field Engagement
  • Represent VoPay at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders, solution buyers, and strategic partners
  • Conduct event-based outreach and follow-up to drive enterprise lead generation
Go-to-Market Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing to refine campaign targeting and prospect messaging
  • Provide feedback loops to inform ICP, content development, and product positioning
  • Deliver weekly reports on lead velocity, campaign results, and outbound effectiveness
  • Act as a key stakeholder in shaping VoPay’s GTM strategy for expansion into the U.S. and new verticals
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated success in BDR, SDR or a similar role.
  • Financial Technology Knowledge: Experience with financial technology or software applications is a plus.
  • You’ve got a great energy and competitive attitude, even better if you’ve got previous experience crushing a sales quota or hitting measurable goals
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Zoominfo or another similar tech is an advantage
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced mid-level startup environment.
Compensation Range
Base Salary $80-$120K per year plus commission.
