Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead technology strategy, target architectures, and governance across large-scale transformation programs. You will bridge business objectives with scalable technical designs, coordinating with clients, delivery teams, and executives.

You'll shape end-to-end architectures, drive cloud modernization, evaluate platforms, and guide AI/GenAI initiatives while mentoring teams and contributing to reusable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15+ years in solution/enterprise architecture or technology leadership roles.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across multiple industries.
• Experience leading technology due diligence, architecture assessments, and modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; familiarity with AI/GenAI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and architecture engagements aligned with client transformation goals.
• Perform technology due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and digital transformations.
• Define end-to-end architectures across applications, data, integrations, and cloud platforms.
• Develop target-state blueprints, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Lead platform evaluation, vendor assessments, and proof-of-concepts.
• Design AI and advanced analytics architectures including GenAI and model ops.
• Provide architecture governance across engagements and ensure risk management.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering, data teams, and clients.
• Mentor architects and engineers; contribute to reusable assets and accelerators.
• Support pre-sales, proposals, and client pursuits with technical leadership.
• Present architecture decisions to executives and stakeholders with clarity.
