A globally recognized, high-growth food manufacturer is embarking on a significant transformation project and is seeking a strategic yet hands-on Engineering Project Manager to lead a major brownfield facility expansion in the United States.

This role will lead the full lifecycle delivery of a technically complex site extension, from civil works and utilities to equipment installation and final commissioning. You’ll be the driving force behind one of the organization’s most important capital programs — with clear line of sight to the executive team.

What You'll Own :

• Program Leadership : Take full ownership of the site expansion and installation of new high-speed processing and packaging lines within an existing facility.
• Site Infrastructure : Oversee civil works, utility redesign (compressed air, HVAC, wastewater, electrical), and demolition where required — ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Capital Oversight : Manage a significant CAPEX budget and advise on design trade-offs impacting long-term OPEX performance and operational efficiency.
• Partner Management : Lead end-to-end engagement with contractors, architects, and engineers — ensuring compliance with permitting, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Cross-Functional Influence : Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to keep the project aligned with business and compliance objectives.
• Risk & Compliance : Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to safety, timeline, cost, and regulatory hurdles (GMP, OSHA, FDA, building codes).
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or closely related).
• You’ve led at least one full-site build or major expansion project (brownfield or greenfield) — ideally in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical settings.
• You understand the challenges of upgrading utilities, integrating complex production lines , and working within regulated, high-throughput environments.
• Your capital project leadership includes budgets >

5M , with a track record of hitting safety, cost, and delivery targets.

• Bonus if you’ve worked with automation, packaging systems, or applied Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
