Job summary

Kingston Consulting Global Ltd is seeking a strategic Platform Engineering leader to steer the next-generation AI infrastructure and enterprise SaaS platform. You will direct an engineering team across cloud, data, AI, and shared services to modernize our product for global enterprise customers.

Your mandate includes delivering a scalable platform, guiding architectural evolution, and partnering with R&D to align the technology roadmap with business goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building and operating production software.

About the Role

The role will lead the Platform Engineering team, which carries the next-generation AI infrastructure, and the modernization of a product trusted by significant enterprise customers worldwide. Your leadership will set the direction for how fast the R&D organization moves.

You will lead a team across cloud infrastructure, data platform, AI platform, extensions and integrations, and shared services. This is one of the most strategic technical leadership positions in the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Engineering team - own delivery, quality, operations across the platform layers of future architecture. Hire, grow, and build succession across the team.
• Cloud transition - complete a move to Azure on a committed timeline.
• Industrialize AI infrastructure - take the AI Agentic Platform from early adopter to production grade.
• Scale extension migration - drive the AI-powered migration of customer extensions onto the modern platform, expanding the automated pipeline and closing the gaps it cannot handle.
• Shape the technical roadmap - partner with across R&D on the technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building and operating production software, with 5+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering organizations.
• You must have a track record working in Enterprise Software/SaaS companies.
• Experience in enterprise software that serves critical infrastructure, or regulated industries is ideal.
• You have run Azure and/or AWS platforms carrying enterprise SLAs, and you have owned the operational readiness story, not just the build.
• Fluent in modern data platforms and in running LLM-based systems in production: pipelines, evaluation, cost, and compliance.
• Very strong team leader - senior engineers choose to work for you, and grow under you.
• Communication - you are comfortable engaging with leadership teams across an international business.
