Job summary

Alithya seeks a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead to join the Engineering Sub-Division in Ontario. You will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative solutions across nuclear, pharmaceutical, transportation and mining sectors.

You will drive project delivery, mentor engineers, collaborate with sales to grow business, and influence executive leadership on strategic matters. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and advancing AI, digital twins and automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, System Design Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
  • 8+ years of experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience in client-facing roles at nuclear power plants.
  • Ability to deliver projects in high safety and quality environments.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities across projects and teams.
  • Experience leading technical teams.

Job description

The salary range for this position in Ontario is $125,000 to $160,000. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills and competencies, and unique qualifications.

Your role, your impact

As a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead, you'll join our Engineering Sub-Division, a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering innovative engineering solutions and professional services. We support industries such as nuclear, pharmaceutical, transportation, and mining, driving complex engineering initiatives, and developing solutions leveraging emerging technologies, including automation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital twins, and advanced visualization. Your leadership will help drive project delivery, team performance, and the continued evolution of the division's engineering capabilities.

Keys to your success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, System Design Engineering, or an equivalent discipline with strong exposure to computer and control systems;
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation;
  • 8+ years of experience in the nuclear industry;
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles at nuclear power plants;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in environments with high safety and quality standards;
  • Ability to effectively respond to evolving priorities across projects and teams.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
