Your Impact
  • Deliver geotechnical expertise on multidisciplinary projects—including highways, bridges, dams, buildings, tunnels, industrial facilities, and remote northern infrastructure.

  • Prepare detailed geotechnical studies and engineering reports, offering clear, actionable recommendations grounded in field data and technical analysis.
  • Lead or support geotechnical investigation programs, including scoping, bidding, procurement, and oversight of subcontractor activities.
  • Assess and evaluate key geotechnical challenges such as settlement, liquefaction, slope stability, frost heave, groundwater flow, excavation considerations, and more.
  • Manage field programs that may include drilling, in‑situ testing, CPT investigations, trenching, and construction QA/QC activities (e.g., subgrade compaction, geosynthetics installation).
  • Contribute to project delivery excellence by ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional technical rigor.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a P.Eng. with EGBC.
  • At least 7 years of hands‑on geotechnical experience, ideally across multiple project types and field conditions.
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or similar tools.
  • A strong sense of initiative and the ability to lead workstreams with minimal direction.
  • A proven track record delivering geotechnical projects on time, on budget, and with high technical quality.
